Feelin’ Good Again
The Watkins Family Hour has been doing an excellent job lately at drawing some compelling guests to play at their shows. I was eager to attend their show at Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles, on June 13, 2017, after learning that my favorite singer Glen Phillips, as well as astute songwriter Langhorne Slim, and L.A. “SoCal country” favorite, Sam Outlaw, were on the bill. Find Where I Belong
It had been a while since I last attended a Watkins Family Hour show and with the addition of a couple guests I wanted to see, it was a no-brainer to head up to Largo at the Coronet for the show on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. I will jump right into the set list and the recap of the concert. Share It With the Rest of Us
Grant-Lee Phillips and Sara Watkins played a show at Largo at the Coronet on January 12, 2017. Grant-Lee has one of the best voices out there and it is always a privilege to hear him sing live. This was a full night of music, including a show in the Little Room after the musicians finished on the main stage. I’m not going to go into too much detail as I am reporting on this concert so belatedly, since I can’t seem to avoid every cold that’s passing through this winter. The set list was: “Walking in the Green Corn” from
